Attorney Keon Lee of Seoul, Korea; repeat offender

The state of California presented Keon Joon Lee with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Whittier University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Lee guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to respond to defense counsel’s information request
  • Failed to communicate settlement offer to his client
  • Failed to pay client medical liens upon receipt of settlement funds
  • Failed to provide accounting of client funds to client

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Lee’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Tree. He previously received a complimentary reproval for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Lee by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of him law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Lee practices at 38 Wangsimni-ro, Seongdong-gu in Seoul, Korea.
