Attorney Lee Wilson of Naples, FL; ethical goblin

The state of Colorado provided Lee R. Wilson with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Lee guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Represented client despite knowing he would be a witness in her lawsuit
  • Mishandled several aspects of client’s case
  • Failed to properly handle production of documents subject to attorney-client privilege
  • Only sought to remove himself from the case after opposing counsel issued a subpoena for him to testify at his client’s trial
  • Failed to appear at court-scheduled trial on client’s behalf
  • Failure to appear at client’s trial led to court entering substantial judgment against the client that included punitive damages for a fraud claim

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Lee practices at 3956 Jasmine Lake Circle in Naples, Florida.

CAUTION: Lee does not carry legal malpractice insurance
