Attorney M. Lynn Pope of Tampa; scamming loser

The state of Florida provided M. Lynn Pope with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Lynn guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Filed at least 49 frivolous court actions
  • Ordered to pay more than $18,000 in attorney fees to opposing party
  • Filed non-meritorious and unintelligible motions with voluminous, unnecessary attachments
  • Filed emergency motions that lacked urgency

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Lynn by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Lynn practices in Tampa, Florida.
