Attorney Patricia Pickrel of Centerville, OH; cheating loser

The state of Ohio presented Patricia Ann Pi Patricia Pickrel with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from the University of Dayton Law School.

The Disciplinary Board found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, while she worked for the law office of Ulmer & Berne, Patty over-billed by more than $87,000 for non-attorney, document-review services. At the time, Patty had yet to receive her license to practice law.

Patty’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defenses

In a lame attempt at levity, Patty blamed her fraudulent conduct on a so-called mental-health disorder, claiming she was diagnosed with dysthymia in 2016. FYI: dysthymia is a form of depression in which a person’s moods are regularly low.

So, according to Patty when her mood was low she’d self-medicate herself by over-billing for work she never performed. As expected, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court gave her credit for this laughable defense by reducing her suspension from 2 years to one.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Patty by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2018), Patty will be practicing again in July 2018 when her license is reinstated at 1081 Kenworthy Place in Centerville, Ohio.
