Judge C. Ashley Pike of Lisbon, OH; ethical troll

The state of Ohio presented C. Ashley Pike with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Akron Law School.

Pike’s unethical conduct relates to his ongoing campaign to dupe the Columbiana County voters into electing him to another 6-year term as a Columbiana County Common Pleas judge. During this campaign, Pike has engaged in the following unethical and/or highly questionable conduct.

• Demeaned his opponent prosecutor Megan Bickerton by saying she would be “nothing but a puppet and a pawn” if she were to be elected
• Became very angry and upset when the County Republican Central and Executive Committee voted 82% in favor of Bickerton for the judicial race
• Distributed a campaign handout falsely asserting that Ms. Bickerton was not a full-time prosecutor, questioning if she had even prosecuted any cases in 2017

One thing is patently clear and that is that Pike is fearful of losing a cushy job that pays $123,150 a year along with a Cadillac style health insurance plan and lucrative pension benefits.

Hopefully the voters in Columbiana County will tell Pike to take a Hike in the November 2018 election. If Pike loses the election he can always apply for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store on East State Street in Salem, Ohio.

Unfortunately, as we speak (ca. April 2018), Pike continues to sit as a Columbiana County Common Pleas judge in Lisbon, Ohio.
