Donald Trump fails to take credit for rising budget deficit
Always quick to take credit for things he never had anything to do with, The Great Leader has again relied on his First Amendment Right to Remain Silent on the April 2018 report by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) that the budget deficit rose by $598 billion in the first half of 2018. (Niv Elis)
It seems pretty clear that the annual budget deficit for 2018 will easily surpass $1 trillion. In fact, given the huge tax cut given to billionaires and businesses, the 2018 deficit could come in at around $1.4 trillion. Now let’s take a look at the deficit under Obama for his last four years in office as set forth below. 2013 = $687 billion 2014 = $483 billion 2015 = $468 billion 2016 = $585 billion
If and when The Great Leader comments on the glaring disparity between his numbers on the deficit and Obama’s, we can be assured that he’ll blame Obama’s numbers on “fake news” put forth by CBO and/or that the numbers were fabricated by members of the so-called “deep state” in the government that fabricated Obama’s numbers to make The Great Leader look bad.
