Judge Kenneth F. Reilly of Montgomery, TX; liar, certified loser

The Texas Supreme Court presented Kenneth Reilly with a law license in 1961.

Judge Reilly works part time as a Municipal Court judge in Montgomery County. Kenny’s primary source of income is that of a professional speaker, who conducts training seminars in the area of environmental law.

On two separate occasions, the Judicial Commission found Kenny guilty of abusing his position as a judge, once in 2000 and again in 2010.

Judge Reilly’s website promotes his seminar business with several references to his judicial position, including promotional statements such as, “Bring the Judge to your next meeting as a Keynoter.”

Even though he was specifically warned in 2000 that using his position as a judge to pimp his training seminars was totally improper, Kenny basically told the Judicial Commission to go to hell. And he did so after he promised he wouldn't, meaning he's a big time liar.

In a lame attempt at levity, the Judicial Commission ruled that Kenny has engaged in willful or persistent conduct that “cast public discredit on the judiciary.” Obviously, the members of the Commission missed their calling as standup comedians.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers working at the Texas Judicial Commission punished Kenny by gifting him with a reprimand.

Kenny continues to sit as a Municipal Judge in Montgomery County as of Dec 2011 while at the same time operating his seminar business.
