State Assembly Member Cristina Garcia (D-CA): Today’s Public Official Misfit

In November 2012, Cristina succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Bells Garden area into electing her as a member of the California State Assembly.

In one matter,a former 25-year-old staffer to Assemblyman Ian Calderon, said Cristina groped him. He said that Cristina cornered him after an annual Assembly softball game in Sacramento as was cleaning up the dugout. He said she appeared drunk; however, she began stroking his back, squeezed his buttocks and then attempt to touch his crotch (junk) before he was able to extricate himself.

In another matter,Christina was accused by a prominent lobbyist of assaulting him in May 2017 at a fundraiser for state senator Josh Newman. The accuser said:

• “She came back and was whispering real close and I could smell the booze and see she was pretty far gone.”
• “She looked at me for a second and said, “I’ve set a goal for myself to fuck you.”
• “She stepped in front of me and reaches out and is grabbing my crotch.”

Of course, Christina uses the favorite Donald “Trumporleone” Trump defense by calling her accusers a bunch of liars.

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Cristina by his fellow Assembly members. At worst, she’ll likely receive a complimentary reprimand.
