Judge William Potter of Las Vegas, NV; bullying loser

The state of Nevada presented William S. Potter with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Brigham Young University Law School.

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Failed to act in a manner that promotes public confidence in the independence, integrity, and impartiality of the judiciary and shall avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to perform all duties of judicial office fairly and impartially.
  • Improperly ordered layer handcuffed in court
  • Commented on cases during his re-election bid
  • Exploded in anger during ethics hearing (Screw you, said Billy!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension from the bench.

And lastly, Billy apparently believes that the term “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the a.m.

As we speak (ca. April 2018), Billy continues to sit as an Clark County Eighth District Court Judge in Las Vegas, Nevada.
