Judge Patrick O’Shea of Wheaton, IL; Jesse James Wannabee

The state of Illinois presented Max Whittington law license in 2003 after he graduated from the John Marshall School of Law.

In one matter, Patty was criminally charged with firing a revolver through his wall and into a neighbor’s apartment. The criminal complaint stated that Patty pulled the trigger without first determining that the firearm was not loaded, causing the firearm to discharge, causing a bullet to enter the living area of the adjoining apartment.

Subsequently, the neighbor noticed a hole in a living room wall after returning home from work Sept. 15 and reported it to the apartment complex's management office.

After a bench trial and as one would suspect when one judge is judging another, Judge Keith Johnson found Patty not guilty. Judge Johnson had the temerity to find Patty not guilty despite stating on the record that was concerned with Patty’s serial lies about the matter.

Now what do you think Judge Johnson would have done if the liar appearing before him wasn’t a judge? To ask the question is to answer it!

There is no indication that Judge Johnson referred Patty’s lying to the Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board and/or the Disciplinary Commission for investigation and the imposition of some type of punishment.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Patty continues to sit as a DuPage County Circuit Court judge in Wheaton, Illinois.
