The state of Connecticut presented Michael Atwater Stratton with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Boston University Law School.

The Statewide Greivance Committee found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Greivance Committee punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Mikey practices with Stratton Trials PC at 152 East Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut.
