Judge Marla Holben of Columbus, OH; ethical gremlin

The state of Ohio presented Marla R. Holben with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from Capitol University Law School.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Marla guilty of the following conduct.

  • Participated in at least three separate matters as a judge that involved cases that she worked on previously as the assigned Franklin County Children Services attorney
  • Reputedly failed to remove herself from cases wherein an egregious conflict of interest was involved
  • Failed to act with impartiality regarding matters pending in her court
  • Repeatedly engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Marla by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. (March 2018), Marla continues to sit as a magistrate judge in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division and also practices at 373 South High Street in Columbus, Ohio.
