DA Jon Alexander of Crescent City, CA; repeater, scofflaw, drug abuser

Unfortunately, the California Supreme Court presented Jon Alexander with a law license in 1987.

Unbelievably, Jon succeeded in duping the voters in Del Norte County into electing him as their District Attorney in November 2010.

Prior to scamming the voters into electing him as their District Attorney, Jon was found guilty of the following misconduct by the California State Bar Court on at least three occasions beginning in 1996.
  1. Practicing law without a license (felony in California)
  2. Failed to return unearned fees of as much as $4,500 (aka, stealing)
  3. Committed one or more acts of moral turpitude (aka, dirt-bag)
  4. Criminally convicted for driving with a suspended license
  5. Use of methamphetamine
  6. Failed to perform legal services competently (moron)
  7. Did not respond to client status inquires
  8. Failed to return client files
  9. Improperly communicated with a judge
  10. Refused to cooperate with the state bar’s investigation
As a consequence of his 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Jon by gifting him with a six-month suspension. This is after they suspended Jon in 2003. What an unmitigated joke.

It must be quite comforting to the residents in and around Crescent City, which is about 20 miles south of the Oregon border to know that criminals in their community are being prosecuted by another criminal.

As we speak (ca. Dec 2010) Jon continues to sit as the District Attorney for Del Norte County.
