The state of New York presented Max Katz with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the Brooklyn Law School.

The 1^st Department Disciplinary Board found Max guilty of the following misconduct.

• Found in contempt of court for misleading the trial judge
• Helped to facilitate client’s lie to the court
• Engaged in frivolous conduct
• Sanction $5,000 for engaging in frivolous conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Department Disciplinary Board punished Max by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
