Attorney Amy McGarry of Kennebunk, ME; lying loser

The state of Maine presented Amy B. McGarry with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from the University of Maine Law School. Amy received a law license from New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

The Panel E of the Grievance Commission of the Maine Board of Bar Overseers found Amy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Made false statements to a bankruptcy court judge
• Lied about reasons for filing an untimely pleading concerning a pending Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Petition on behalf of her cleint

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Amy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2018) Amy practices with the McGarry Law Offices Pat at 57 Portland Road in Kennebunk, Maine.
