Attorney William McKeny of Charlotte, NC; cheating loser

The state of North Carolina presented William Trippe McKenny with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain accurate records of client fund distribution
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to perform required client trust account reconciliations
  • Made improper cash withdrawals from trust account
  • Used client funds to pay personal expenses (cheater)
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Grossly inattentive to his fiduciary obligations to safeguard client funds
  • Created significant rise of harm to clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year stayed suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Disciplinary Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Billy.

As we speak (ca. July 2018) Billy practices at 228 East Kingston Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina.
