Attorney Michael Parker of Mocksville, NC; tax cheat

The state of North Carolina presented Michael J. Parker with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Failed to remit all funds client entitled to receive
  • Failed to pay taxes he withheld from employees checks
  • Concealed relevant info from seller re: real estate transaction

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2019) Mikey practices with the Law Office of Parker & Parker PLLC at 136 North Main Street in Mocksville, North Carolina.
