Attorney Kim West of Des Moines; Dumbo, slacker

The state of Iowa presented Kim Marlow West with a law license in 1983.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Kim guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with executor of estate
• Failed to file estate inventory with probate court
• Failed to advise executor of estate of status of matter
• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Kim!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Improperly collected fees in probate matter w/o required court approval

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Kim by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Kim practices at 1022 Clinton Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
