Judge Carl Ginsberg of Dallas; ethical gnome

The Supreme Court of Texas presented Carl Ginsberg with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Carl guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Failed to maintain professional competence in the law (Dumbo)
  • Failed to engage in conduct aimed at promoting confidence in the judiciary
  • Failed to follow rotating system of appointing guardian ad litem and mediators
  • Indecently and w/o authority ruled a portion of Texas constitution as unconstitutional

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Carl continues to sit as a 193rd Judicial District Court judge in Dallas, Texas.
