Judge Jacquelyn Wright of Fort Worth, TX; greedy, lifetime porker
The State Commission on Judicial Conduct Jackie guilty of the following misconduct.
First and foremost, it should be mentioned that Judge Wright has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past twenty-seven (27) years (1991 to 2018).
In one matter, according to the Fort Worth Weekly, Jackie suit against the Tarrant County Republican Party Chair, Jennifer Hall, after her name had been removed from the ballot for re-election as Tarrant County Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4. The article included information from a prior story wherein Jackie told a reporter she feared negative media attention might hurt her chance for re-election and that “she needed another term to qualify for a pension.”
Vickie Philips, Jackie’s opponent challenged her ballot petitions for, among other things, for not containing a party affiliation. Just prior to filing the lawsuit, Jackie sent a letter under the heading “solution” to Tarrant County GOP Chair Jennifer Hall which contains the following statements.
Jackie continues with her letter by making the following illegal offers to the GOP.
The above comments by Jackie prove beyond all doubt that she was willing to sell her judicial office to her opponent for the sole purpose of assuring that she would be able to hose the taxpayers with a fully funded pension.
As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jackie by gifting her with a complimentary public warning.
She was also ordered to obtain 3-hours of training in promoting public confidence in engaging in political activities and integrity of the judiciary. It was rumored that Jimmy chose to enroll in a class held at the Huey “Kingfish” Long Institute for Ethics located on the campus of Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
As we speak (ca. March 2018), Jackie continues to sit as a Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. |
