Attorney Christopher McKay of Alberta, CAN; serial idiot, liar

The Law Society of Alberta presented Christopher D. McKay with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Alberta Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent legal services to numerous clients (Idiot)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to respond to client communications
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Chris!)
• Failed to timely respond to communications from another attorney
• Failed to timely account and report to his client
• Failed to timely deliver his file materials to his client
• Failed to advise client of limited extent and scope of the services he would provide
• Failed to act honorably and with integrity
• Failed to be honest and candid with his client
• Failed to comply with a trust condition

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license and costs of $11, 663.00.

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Chris practices with McKay Law at 4727 101 Street in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
