Attorney Gordon Hoffman of British Columbia, CAN; ethical gnome

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Gordon D. Hoffman with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Law Society found Gordy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Exhibited exceedingly poor judgment in his relationship with female coworker
• Showed poor judgment in personal relations with numerous co-workers
• Conduct aimed at young subordinate completely inappropriate

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Gordy by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license and $20,000 in costs.
