Attorney Jeffrey Sutton of Chesapeake, VA; ethical ogre

The state of Missouri presented Jeffrey Allen Sutton with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from St. Louis University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to disclose a material fact when disclosure is necessary to avoid assisting a criminal or fraudulent act by a client
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
