Attorney James Dilday of Dorchester Center, MA; cheerleader for Attorney Misfits

The state of Massachusetts presented James S. Dilday with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Rutgers University New England School of Law.

In one matter, Jimmy found it acceptable to testify on behalf of disgraced attorney Henry Owens III to have his law license reinstated. Ray did so even though Owens admitted serial thief and liar. For further information on attorney Owens, visit the URL listed at the end of this article.

Jimmy’s laughable testimony in support of Owens is as follows.

  • Owens is a skilled attorney (Yeah, at stealing and lying)
  • He has the moral qualification to be an attorney
  • His reinstatement would not be a detriment to the public’s perception of the bar

It appears Jimmy missed his calling as a standup comedian by claiming that a thieving liar had the oral qualification to be an attorney in Massachusetts. His comment that the public’s perception of the bar would not be harmed by Owens’ reinstatement is basically true since most of the public holds the bar in total contempt.

As we speak (ca. January 2018) Jimmy practices with Dilday Law LLC at 299 Gallivan Blvd in Dorchester Center, Massachusetts.
