Attorney Saul Zabell of Bohemia, NY; contemptuous loser

The state of New York presented Saul Zabell with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from New York Law School.

In one matter, Saul is being investigated by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) for allegedly threatening workers in a hearing room during a labor case over whether his client Deep Distributors of Greater NY, obstructed a union organization effort.

During the meeting, Saul raised his voice and said the employees were illegal, undocumented and that “immigration is here.”

At the hearing over the matter, Administrative Law Judge Steven Davis said that Saul’s misconduct was on the record, and that he had put him “on notice of admonishment and reprimand” on four separate occasions. Judge Davis went on to say:

  • “Mr. Zabell, I have never seen such misconduct engaged in by an attorney in these proceedings in my 43 years with the Board and 35 years as a judge.”.
  • “Your conduct before me, before we broke for lunch was improper, contemptuous, unprofessional, and constituted misconduct of an aggravated character.”
  • “It will not be tolerated.”

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Saul by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Disciplinary Board.

As we speak (ca. December 2017), Saul practices with Zabell & Associates PC at 1 Corporate Drive in Bohemia, New York.
