Judge Amanda Williams of Brunswick, GA; Il Duce Wannabee, liar, nepotist  
FYI: Il Duce is none other than the late dictator and ally of Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini.
The Supreme Court of Georgia made a monumental error in judgment when presented Amanda Williams with a license to practice law in 1977.
In 1990, Amanda succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Brunswick (80 miles south of Savannah) area into electing her as a Superior Court judge.
In early November 2011, the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission filed a formal complaint against Judge Williams, charging her with the following misconduct.
On a number of occasions Judge Williams appointed her daughter to serve as a guardian ad litem in cases pending before her. She also signed an order prepared by her daughter-in-law in a case before her. She also presided over cases defended by a lawyer who was a law partner with her son, and the two rented space from Williams in a building she owns. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Given Amanda’s track record of abusing criminal defendants that appear in her court, she laughingly agreed to not preside over any future criminal trials. Isn’t that special?
A trial regarding Amanda’s egregious misconduct will be held sometime in 2012. Hopefully, the Judicial Commission will make a recommendation to the Georgia Supreme Court to remove this certified loser from the bench.
