Attorney Margo Owen of Alexandria, VA; Dumbo

The state of Virginia presented Margo Bly Owen with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from George Mason University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Margo guilty of the following misconduct.

• Illegally shared fees with non-lawyer
• Illegally formed a partnership with a non-lawyer
• Failed to decline employment when required to so act
• Improperly accepted compensation from one other than client
• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to deposit client funds into client trust account

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Margo by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Margo practices at 600 Cameron Street in Alexandria, Virginia.
