Judge Byron Williams of New Orleans; alleged pervert

The state of Louisiana presented Byron C. Williams with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Tulane University Law School.

The Louisiana Judiciary Commission is investigating Bryon for engaging in the following misconduct.

• Groped female clerk working for another judge
• Made off-color comments from the bench
• Court clerk alleges that Byron grabbed her breast
• Made inappropriate comments of sexual nature to court personnel
• Several court employees reported examples of what they construed to be inappropriate or peculiar behavior engaged in by Bryon

In another matter, Court officials changed the locks on the door of a non-public women's bathroom in the second-floor hallway of the courthouse, following complaints that Williams would use that bathroom. This, despite the fact that Bryon has his own bathroom, in his court chambers.

The groping allegation against Williams has swirled around the criminal courthouse for several weeks. It prompted other women in the courthouse to report examples of what they considered inappropriate or peculiar behavior by the judge.

All that’s left now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Byron by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Lousiana Supreme Court.
