The state of Virginia presented Charles James Swedish with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from George Mason University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a pattern of neglect of client matters
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to return client file
• Failed to provide client with accounting
• Failed to place advance fees into trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Charlie practices with Sloan & Swedish at 107 Pleasant Street NW in Vienna, Virginia.
