Judge Mark Somers of Dearborn, MI; loser, liar, serial scofflaw 
Unfortunately, Judge Mark Somers sits as a judge on the Dearborn District Court,
Over the past several years, Judge Somers has been successfully sued by a former court former court employee that he fired them in contravention of Michigan law.
The jury unanimously concluded that Judge Somers had violated the law in discharging the employee and awarded over $500,000 in damages
A trial involving a second employee who was illegally fired by Somers has yet to go to trial, however, based on the prior jury findings and award; it would seem that he will again be found guilty of violating the law. (Brian Dickerson – Detroit Free Press)
Despite the fact that the jury unanimously found that Somers had violated Michigan law, the enablers and apologists sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court and the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission found it perfectly acceptable to have a serial scofflaw sitting on the bench. Put simply, they couldn’t find anything wrong with Judge Somers’ conduct.
Unlike the enablers and apologists aforementioned, the jurors found that Somers’ testimony wasn’t worth believing.
As we speak (ca. Nov 2011) Somers the Scofflaw (SS) remains on the bench in Dearborn while he cheerfully collects $138,000 in undeserved wages from the taxpayers.
This is further evidence that Judicial Misfits are held to a much lower standard of conduct then we are.
