Attorney John Bischof of Tallahassee; slacker, repeat offender

The state of New Jersey presented John Loring Bischof with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Florida State University Law School.

The State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

Johnny’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Aided nonlawyer in illegal practice of law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to return unearned fees (thief)
• Failed to advise client he was closing office
