Attorney Joseph Kirkland Jr. of Memphis; cheating loser

The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Joseph Talmadge Kirkland Jr. with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Memphis State University Law School.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Used unclaimed funds belonging to third persons to pay for office expenses
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Third person funds improperly used related to real estate transactions

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2017), Joey practices at 5860 Ridgeway Center Parkway in Memphis, Tennessee.
