Attorney Steven Sarbacker of Portage, WI; deadbeat convict, repeater

The state of Kentucky presented Steven James Sarbacker with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

Stevie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

Stevie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to pay court-ordered child support

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

Stevie’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to provide clients with written fee agreement
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly deliver funds owing to client
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Stevie!)
• Pled no contest (guilty in effect) to battery and disorderly conduct
• Pled no contest (guilty in effect) to pointing a fireman toward another person

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Stevie practices with the Sarbacker Law Offices Ltd. at 134 West Cook Street in Portage, Wisconsin.
