Attorney Kevin O’Brien of Chicago; ethical gnome

The state of Illinois presented Kevin M. O’Brien with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the DePaul University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Kevin represented multiple clients with differing interests in a wrongful death claim without providing the clients with appropriate disclosures about his conflict of interest. He also advanced living expenses to one of those clients.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (December 2017), Kevin practices with the Law Office of Kevin M. O’Brien at 105 West Madison Street in Chicago, Illinois.
