Attorney Jon Richardson of Chicago; serial scofflaw

The state of Illinois presented Jon Michelle Gibbs Richardson with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from the DePaul University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Jon found it acceptable to engage in the illegal practice of law at a time that she absolutely knew her license had been suspended. Despite being unlicensed, Jon continued to represent various clients in personal bankruptcy, domestic relations and other civil matters.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Jon by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (December 2017), Jon practices at 332 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
