Attorney Richard Alamia of Edinburg, TX; thief, repeat offender

The state of Texas provided Richard R. Alamia with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School.

The District 12 Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to return unearned fee (thief)

As one would suspect, this isn’t Dick’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick.
