Attorney Carl Silver of Alpena, MI; cheating loser

The state of Michigan provided Carl C. Silver with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The Tri-Valley Hearing Panel #1 found Carl guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct by knowingly assisting or inducing another to do so, or doing so through the acts of another
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary for client to make informed decisions regarding representation
• Charged or collected excessive fee (cheater)
• Failed to communicate basis for fee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Panel punished Carl by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (December 2017), Carl practices at 230 South Third Avenue in Alpena, Michigan.
