Attorney Raymond Douglas of Metuchen, NJ; slacker

The state of New Jersey presented Raymond G. Douglas with law license in 1976 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Ray guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file answer to husband’s divorce action for client
  • Failure to answer husband’s divorce action led to court entering order involving property settlement that was prepared by opposing counsel
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Ray by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Ray practices at 60 Amboy Avenue in Metuchen, New Jersey.
