Attorney James Dugan of Secaucus, NJ; ethical goblin

The state of New Jersey presented James P. Dugan with law license in 1959 after he graduated from Fordham University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
  • Failed to obtain prior consent to represent clients w/conflicting interests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Jimmy practices with Waters McPherson McNeill PC at 300 Lighting Way in Secaucus, New Jersey.
