Attorney Bernard Berkowitz of West Orange, NJ; ethical elf

The state of New Jersey presented Bernard S. Berkowitz with law license in 1957 after he graduated from Cornell University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Bernie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
• Failed to obtain prior consent to represent clients w/conflicting interests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Bernie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As one would suspect, Johnny’s self-serving website at http://www.blkgg.com/ makes no mention of Bernie’s misconduct as set forth above. Apparently, the firm chose to conceal this relevant information so as to not limit its future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Bernie practices with Berkowitz Lichtstein Kuritsky Giasullo & Gross, LLC at 443 Northfield Avenue in West Orange, New Jersey.
