Attorney Nedum Ejiogu of Newark, NJ; cheating repeater

 

The state of New Jersey presented Nedum C. Ejiogu with law license in 1992 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Nedum guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Nedum’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Numerous recordkeeping violations
  • Failed to maintain required client ledgers
  • Wrote check on insufficient funds account (rubber)
  • Failed to maintain trust disbursement book
  • Failed to maintain separate ledge sheets detailing funds held for bank charges
  • Running cash balance not kept in trust account checkbook
  • Deposit slips lacked detail to identify each item of deposit

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Nedum by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

 

Nedum’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to enter into fee agreement for over one year
  • Conduct adversely reflected on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Nedum by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

 

Nedum’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to third person
  • Knowingly violated the Rules of Professional Conduct, assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Knowing misappropriation (theft) of escrow funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Nedum by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Nedum practices with Michael I. Okechuku PC at 936 Broad Street in Newark, New Jersey.
