Attorney Kaykay Davis-Daniels of Asbury Park, NJ; ethical gnome

The state of New Jersey presented Kaykay E. Davis-Daniels with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Kaykay guilty of the following misconduct.

  • For 3 years failed to inform court of problems fulfilling role as estate representative
  • Failed to seek court’s guidance and assistance in probate matter
  • Missed numerous deadlines for filing estate inventory
  • Failed to appear at court hearing scheduled to explain failure to perform fiduciary duties in sole representative of estate matter pending in probate court
  • Failed to advise court of intended absence from schedule hearing on removal as representative in estate case
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to ask court to withdraw when withdrawal was mandated

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Kaykay by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. December 2017), Kaykay practices with Daniels & Davis-Daniels at 527 Bangs Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
