Attorney David Peirce of Ontario, CAN; ethical leprechaun

The Law Society of Upper Canada presented David John Albert Peirce with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Aaron guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in professional misconduct
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain sufficient balances in trust account to meet all trust obligations
• Borrowed $75,000 from a client
• Misapplied total of $75,000.00 from funds he held on client’s behalf in his mixed trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society punished
Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.
