Attorney Jeffrey Holmstrand of Wheeling, WV; lying slacker

The state of West Virginia presented Jeffrey A. Holmstrand with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Knowingly made false statement of material fact to tribunal
• Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Jeff practices with Grove Holmstrand & Delik PLLC at 44 ½ 15^th Street in Wheeling, West Virginia.
