Attorney Christopher Travis of Stevensville, MI; ethical gnome

The state of Ohio presented Christopher Thomas Travis with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Syracuse University Law School.

The Ohio Supreme Court Disciplinary Counsel found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file appellate briefs on client’s behalf
  • Failed to take appropriate actions in 28 appellate cases
  • Failed to file required brief causing dismissal of client’s appeal
  • Failure to file appellate brief resulted in 21 client appeals being dismissed
  • Neglected numerous legal matters entrusted to him
  • Knowingly prejudiced or caused damage to his clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Chris practices with the Law Office of Christopher T. Travis at 5789 Hayden Court in Stevensville, Michigan.
