Judge Michael Williams of Napa, CA; thief, lifetime porker

The state of California provided Michael S. Williams with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Golden Gate University Law School.

Gov. Jerry Brown was duped into appointing Mike to a seat as a Napa County Superior Court judge in 2012. Dennis didn’t get the appointment because he was the most qualified lawyer in the greater Napa area. He got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that Mike has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-one years (1986 thru 2017). Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Napa County area was about to offer Mike a good paying job.

The Judicial Performance Commission found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mike was caught stealing several card holders at a “Judge’s Night” dinner sponsored and paid for by the Northern California chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers at the City Club of San Francisco.

The cardholders were consistent with the art deco décor of The City Club and cost about $50 each. The holding cards were for the City Club’s managers.

As the event was about to conclude and attendees started to leave, Mike spotted the card holders on a table near the elevators on the 10thfloor. Mike then pocketed at least one cardholder, left, and then returned and took sever more before taking an elevator to the first floor.

A couple of weeks later, A City Club member told Mike the thefts had been caught on a security camera. Mike then sent the card holders back to the City Club the next day with a note saying he had “no excuse” and that he’d been drinking and “was not thing of what I was doing.”

Yeah Mikey, and when John Dillinger was caught robbing banks, he did it because he had been drinking and wasn’t able to comprehend what he was doing. If memory serves me Mike, that excuse didn’t get Johnny off the hook.

Rather than face the fact that he might have been removed from the bench, Johnny took the cowards way out and announced he would resign from the bench in October 2017.

Because Judicial Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Mike was never criminal charged with larceny.

As we speak (October 2017) Johnny the Thief continues to sit as a Napa County Superior Court judge in Napa, California.
