Unfortunately for the majority of Americans, Tommy was appointed as Secretary of Health and Human Services by Donald “Trumporleone” Trump despite the fact that he personally enriched himself as a member of congress by purchasing stocks in medical companies after receipt of confidential information on said companies in his positions in congress.

During a recent (mid-July 2017) appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Tommy decided to further prove that he is one of America’s Premier Humanitarians. In this instance, Tommy spoke about the Republican “Repeal and Replace” Obamacare effort.

During the interview, Tommy was asked to reply to the severe criticism of the GOP’s health care proposal by two major groups that represent the U.S. health insurance industry. Towards that end, the Humanitarian said:

“It’s really perplexing, especially from the insurance companies, because all they have to do is dust off how they did business before Obamacare.”

So, what we have here is Benevolent Tommy ascribing to the position that not only should Obamacare be repealed, but that we should revert to the good old days when healthcare insurers could just go about cheerfully sticking it up the collective derrieres of their customers.

Yes indeedy, those good old days when insurers screwed you by refusing to cover an alleged pre-existing condition and/or refused to pay for other necessary care. Goshes and Gollies, do I miss those Good Old Days! How about you boys and girls?

To prove that he’s one of America’s Premier Humanitarians, Tommy voted and/or introduced legislation as follows while a member of Congress

• Against a bill prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation
• Opposed any kind of gun control
• Voted against withdrawing armed forces from Iraq
• Stated that birth-control coverage under Obamacare violates religious freedoms (in truth violates rights of an assortment of Bigots)
• Introduced legislation to exempt U.S. securities transactions from financial taxes and penalties imposed by other nations (Tommy’s gift to suffering millionaires and billionaires)

And lastly, Tommy doesn’t give a damn if lower or middle-income folks have or can afford to purchase a decent health care insurance policy because his insurance is paid for by the taxpayers. And moreover, Tommy is worth at least $10 million which means he really doesn’t give a shit about those at the bottom of the economic ladder.

Congrats Tommy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Humanitarians”; you are far too humble.
