Attorney David Schindler of Los Angeles; Dufus, enabler for corrupt officials  
The California Supreme Court presented David Schindler with a license to practice law in 1987 after his graduation from U.C.L.A.
After working as an assistant U.S. Attorney, Dave eventually became a partner in the Latham & Watkins law firm’s office in Los Angeles. Latham & Watkins claims to be one of many “prestigious” law firms operating in the greater LA area. Of course “prestigious” only means that the firm bills outrageous hourly fees which may approach or exceed $500 an hour.
For some unknown reason, one or more Dumbos in charge of uncovering public corruption in the City of Vernon decided to employ attorney David Schindler.
One of the corrupt officials who bilked the City was Donal O’Callaghan who was placed on leave in 2010 after the LA Times revealed that he partook in hiring his wife as a city contractor (aka, nepotism 101). L.A. prosecutors later charged Donal with criminal counts of conflict of interest and misappropriation (stealing) of public funds. Recently, Donal pleaded guiltyto felony corruption charges.
Donal the Felon had the chutzpah to demand $1.2 million in compensation from Vernon. Donal made this sham claim even though his contract with Vernon allowed h to be terminated if he was convicted of a “felony involving moral turpitude.”
Unbelievably, Schindler the Moron negotiated a settlement wherein the City paid the Felon $500,000. In a lame attempt at levity, Schindler defended his asinine conduct by saying if was far from clear that a violation of state conflict-of-interest codes amounted to “moral turpitude.” Clearly, Dave the Dufus missed his calling as a standup comedian.
What kind of an idiot would claim that he’s not sure that pleading guilty to a “felony” doesn’t equate to immoral conduct? Apparently, Dave the Dumbo is under the impression that convicted felons like Donal are actually upright moral stalwarts. Either Dave is an intellectual dwarf or he is in fact a die-in-the-wool enabler/apologist for corrupt public officials like Donal.
And lastly, ya gotta wonder how much did the City of Vernon pay Schindler for his worthless legal services. In my opinion, anything in excess of $75.00 clearly could not be justified!
