Attorney Lawrence Callegari of Paterson, NJ; slacker

The state of New Jersey presented Lawrence Callegari with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Negligently misappropriated (stole) $100,000 in client funds
• Failed to prepare monthly trust account reconciliations
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Engaged in a pattern of neglect
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (November 2017), Larry practices at 685 Broadway in Paterson, New Jersey.
