Attorney Michele Brooke of Pasadena, CA; ethical gnome

The state of California presented Michelle Elaine Brooke with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from the University of LaVerne Law School.

The California Bar Court found Michele guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misconduct significantly harmed client
• Filed frivolous cross-complaint
• Client and Michele ordered to pay sanctions of $13,610 to opposing counsel
• Despite knowing her cross-complaint was w/o merit she continued to pursue it

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Michelle by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license. 

In truth, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Michele.

As we speak (ca. August 2017) Michele practices with the Brooke Law Group at 225 South Lake Avenue in Pasadena, California.
